acadia national park, kebo/champlain/beehive trails - August 1, 2016

During the summer of 2016, I explored most of gorgeous acadia National Park via weekly hikes.  This was hike 3 of 6 on the kebo, champlain, and beehive trails.  These trails led me to the peaks of kebo, champlain, and gotham mountains.  the infamous beehive trail is a loop which includes a very steep climb that requires the use of iron rungs on an exposed cliff.  unfortunately, i went the wrong direction on the loop and had to descend on the iron rungs--quite harrowing!
