Mount Baldy - september 27, 2017

This was the third climb that I completed of southern california's "six pack of peaks" in preparation for my summit of mount whitney in september 2018.  it was a 10-mile round trip hike, to the summit of mount baldy (san Antonio) (elevation 10,064'), consisting of a hiking elevation gain of 3,900'.  This was the first hike I completed in California that rose above the timber line.  The "Devil's Backbone" portion of the hike was very picturesque.  It was cool to summit this peak, because it is the most visible peak from Seabreeze RV Resort, where I stayed.
